Excellent. No surprises!
Staff very responsive.

The deck is spectacular - we could have spend the whole time there! But we didn't, we experienced the friendly and pleasant neighborhood as well as the beaches, restaurants and scenery of wonderful Galveston. The realty and bike rental folks were pleasant, friendly and helpful and took great care of us. A complete pleasure all around.

This was a very nice, great place for a couple, nice to sit out on elevated decks. Galveston was an interesting city but we were disappointed with the ocean color, Mississippi mud brown, and we (each 70) were not about to get in water. Local eating establishments limited. If you have a big crew bring along extra toilet and paper towels as “inventory” was sparse.

We had a wonderful time despite half the days being wet (rainy) and cold. With lots of room to spread out and board games as well as Wi-Fi and movies, we were able to enjoy our time. Thanksgiving dinner came off very well for us this year, glad we spent it at Wine Down and Wine Time.

Very nice spot with a view. Perfect for my husband, myself and our 10yr old.

The house was in beautiful shape. Amazing location. The back deck is beautiful. We loved fishing off the dock at night.

Besides everything getting rained out I was completely content with just staying in and enjoying the beautiful home we were in.. The house is absolutely perfect for a romantic get away or just a little weekend vacation.. we definitely will be coming back.

Overall it was a good trip. House was clean & comfortable inside, and had everything we needed.

Only thing I'll mention is that if you plan to bring a boat, PLAN ACCORDINGLY!
You need a daily permit to launch (park) at the Jamaica Beach neighborhood launch. The house description mentions this, but it doesn't say how to get one!

I got there early the day of arrival to hit the water, and saw there was no place to buy a permit, and also learned from a resident that it's a $200 fine for launching without a permit.
From there I started figuring out how to get a permit, so after calling the office that wasn't open until ~9:45ish, I went to the police/fire station (closed at 9am), then to city hall who told me the property manager had to e-mail them. Then I looked to see where Wolverton was located and went there (luckily very close). The property staff didn't get in until 9:45 or so, so at the end of the story, I couldn't launch until about 10:30.
All of this could've been avoided if I had took it upon myself to coordinate with the property people, so I guess that's "my bad"!

Again, other than this, all was well and would stay again.

Went there for a family reunion, and all the family members came by the house and absolutely loved it! The bed was super comfortable, and the views were outstanding.

The house was wonderful! The rental company staff were amazing, thanks y'all! The only thing I recommend is to be mindful of the tub, as it is a high tub with no handles to get out, so be careful.

I really like the property as a stand alone but it was quite awkward having to share the site with the large group that had rented the larger home. If Wine Time was by itself I would certainly rent again or if I ever had a need for both houses. But just renting the one and risking that a large group was in the other is not a gamble I am willing to take again.
