THE SALTY DOG

The Salty Dog was everything we could have asked for and more. We had to have a late check in and it was so smooth. The customer service we received from start to finish was superb. The house was extremely clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for the week long visit. We were able to bring our large pup and we’re extremely grateful for that, and she loved the large fenced in yard. With less than a 3 min walk to the beach everything was at our fingertips. We are already making plans to come back next year and stay even longer than a week!!!

Property super convenient location. Had everything we needed. Simple, clean.

Loved the location. Enjoyed the marina and the sounds of the ocean from the balcony.

I enjoyed staying at this beautiful place. Very convenience & close to everything we needed. You can just walk to the beach when you want to.
Also it’s a perfect place for my dog to run around and stay safe.

Very Clean but disappointed with "Welcome" ammenties (small amount of paper goods, soap, begin our stay would have been nice).

The house was clean and in great condition. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk from the house. Very relaxing place to stay.

Very nice and clean house in Sea Isle with a large fenced yard that was perfect for our dogs and we really enjoyed our stay. The host was easy to reach and quick to respond. We will be back!

The Salty Dog is the perfect place to stay with you dogs, and kids for that matter. The yard is awesome and you can't beat the short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

very helpful. We appreciated the extra "hand holding" trying to make final decisions about our reservation in the midst of the approaching storm Delta. We decided to "beat the storm", arrived with permission (and encouragement) a little earlier than the usual check-in. All went well with arrival and unloading, even time for some grocery shopping. But horrors, the sky is about to let go any minute and I have lost the key to the rental! But not to worry! Joel arranged for someone to meet me at the ofc with a key. It turned out "Ms
Wolverton" herself! Thank you. Thank you. The rest of the stay was delightful, the storm passed, the sun came out and even the mosquitoes were manageable with some "pest control" measures! Mom enjoyed a safe celebration of her 90th Birthday with family staying in their home nearby. It was all quite memorable and comfortable! We are grateful.

I will add a couple of comments which is intended to be helpful not critical:
The only issue with cleanliness was with some of the dishes, flatware... If the renters are expected to wash and put up dishes, might be helpful to provide dish washing soap or add to "need to bring" items.
Closet was locked in one of bedrooms - any way to provide some outer rack for hanging items?

And dealing directly with the Wolverton ofc was much more effective and less frustrating than attempting to get information through the VRBO "800" number.

Ok. That's it. Hope we can return in the not too distant future. We just had Zeta pass through the Atlanta area this week with over 300.000 of us without power. This Hurricane Season along with the pandemic has been something else. Stay safe and thanks for all ya'll are doing to help us still be able to enjoy life midst the ongoing challenges. Very pleasant stay, We found the propert very nice as the pictures represents . I highly recommend for a couples. I would be proud to own it just if there was a better view of the beach otherwise we enjoyed. James & Regina

Excellent! Super clean, super cute, HUGE yard for our dogs - loved it!

The house is about 2 blocks from the beach, IT is spacious enough for about 6 persons, we had a wonderful time and sleep.

We loved the size and location of the Salty Dog. It’s walkable to the beach, cool breezes, views. We have booked through Wolverton Resort Rentals previously and have been very pleased with their customer service, information about the area ,etc.

My family truly enjoyed the house! Location to the beach was great! All the comforts of home. Only negative was the pullout sofa...matress was so uncomfortable but my son and nephew slept like logs after the beach!

Stayed for two weeks (5/4/18-5/18/19). Great remodel job,location. A bit noisy being on the main road into Sea Isle but would stay again. Could use new bed linens and outdoor shower enclosure but perfect otherwise. The house does "sway" in higher winds which was a bit unnerving.

The House is located close enough to walk to the beach or take a golf cart in a safe nice neighborhood. Being a pet friendly property is a wonderful plus. It has a well keep fenced yard which was wonderful for my pets and for our peace of mind with them out there. House is clean, organized and highly enjoyed the simple cute decor. Wolverton customer service is a 10+. Their communication with us was terrific. I highly recommend this Real Estate Company. We are renting again with them and soon buying with their help. Truly pleased with he whole experience.

The home was extremely clean and RIGHT near the beach. We are extremely pleased with our stay and will be going back next year.

This is an adorable beach cottage just two blocks away from the beach! It has been nicely updated and has great views of the Gulf. The management staff was very courteous and accommodating. This house had everything a vacationing family could need including a fully stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, fire pit and a wagon to take your beach gear to the beach.

Property was so modern, clean & gorgeous & we loved it. Loved size of fenced garden for my dogs & the large amount of shade under the house for cars & sitting watching world go by. Was near the beach & appreciated the cart. Yes, I would recommend this home to friends & I plan on returning myself. Went to cafes for lunch & restaurant just behind us & it turned out to be super.

Heavy rain the first two days but beautiful weather the last two. Very nice house for one family but too cosy for more. Excellent condition but recommend renting a golf cart if you want to go to the beach a lot.

The location and the house was exactly what we wanted. The fence was a great help since we had our dog with us. The yard is large and the area under the house was great. The outdoor shower was perfect after a beach day. Because the house is 15-20 minutes away from Galveston our stay was peaceful and relaxing, but we could also easily enjoy Galveston's attactions and stores. Cons: The bath towels were bath size and not very absorbent, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. If you want to use the Keurig be sure to notice that it's a 2.0 and 1.0 Kcups won't work.

when i saw the house on google maps it did not look so well then when i was sent the new pictures from the manager i was reveled its like a brand new home nice and clean and will be renting this later in the future

The house was clean and we loved the location! Having the fenced in yard was a plus for hunting eggs Easter morning. This is the perfect house for a small family or an adult getaway. *Our kids loved the loft!
